The film and sound quality of this latest version of The Complete Prabhupada DVD Library has been stunningly improved. The result of thousands of hours of work over the past two years. All original films and videos have been digitally re-mastered. New footage has been discovered and included, the sound has been enhanced.
The result is Prabhupada, as you have never seen before! The improvements are truly breathtaking!
The new DVD set is on 19 dual-layer DVDs, providing twice as much space as the old DVD set, the result is we have been able to add so much extra material and dramatically improve the quality of the images and sound.
There is a completely new series of 6 DVDs called "PrabhupadaDarshan." This is a chronological collection of all the silent footage of SrilaPrabhupada accompanied by three separate sound tracks you can choose from. It is about 25 hours of pure Prabhupada!
The main soundtrack on "PrabhupadaDarshan" is live audio when available with Prabhupada classes from the same time the footage was shot and bhajans and kirtans. The second sound track is Prabhupada conversations and morning walks from the same time and the third sound track is Prabhupadabhajans and purports.
There are completely new shows like a newly discovered documentary of SrilaPrabhupada in Germany. It is a full-color, high quality 16mm film. It shows Prabhupada performing an initiation ceremony at the German temple, SchlossRettershof.
The "Prabhupada in Australia" DVD is completely new. It contains hours of never-released before footage and completely new shows including the installation of Mahaprabhu in Melbourne, Prabhupadas visit to the Franciscan Seminary, the eventful college preaching engagement at Latrobe University, peaceful morning walks, hall programs, and of course the RathaYatra Festival and the after party. This is a complete new DVD with over 4 hours of Prabhupada nectar!!
We have so much improved the "Festivals WithPrabhupada" DVD. Now the Vyasa-Puja Festival in New Vrindavana and the RathaYatra Festival in Philadelphia. Now these shows, as well as having huge improvements to the quality have new color footage included which gives a whole new dimension to the experience of watching these programs.
All the black and white programs have been dramatically improved. All the video has been stabilized. It does not jump up and down any more, the contrast has been improved and the clarity of the images is much better due to a new digital transfer of the original video tapes.
This new Prabhupada DVD set is the final edition. There will not be another after this. It is the culmination of five years of work to preserve and distribute all the recorded film and video of SrilaPrabhupada.
The DVD library is professionally produced on 19 double-layered DVDs, improving the quality while reducing the cost. The double-layer DVDs will play on almost any regions DVD player, allowing devotees from around the world to watch this wonderful library. This latest edition has subtitles in twenty languages and the new option of Russian voiceover.
